About this report
The report supplements the global Kaspersky Security Bulletin and supplements global statistics and threats overview with local data for specific country. Both reports are based on data obtained and processed using the Kaspersky Security Network (KSN). KSN integrates cloud-based technologies into personal and corporate products and is one of Kaspersky Lab’s most important technologies.

KSN assists Kaspersky Lab’s experts to swiftly detect new malware in real time. when no corresponding signature or heuristic detection exists. KSN helps to identify sources of malware proliferation on the Internet and blocks user access to them.

Due to KSN’s very rapid response to new threats we are able to block new programs from launching on users ’ computers within seconds after of them being detected, and without having to update the antivirus database first.

The statistics in this report (except for spam) are based on completely anonymous data obtained from Kaspersky Lab products installed on users’ computers and was acquired with the full consent of the users involved.

Web threats

Attacks via browsers are the primary method for spreading malicious programs. The following methods were used most often by cybercriminals to penetrate systems:

Exploiting vulnerabilities in browsers and their plugins (drive-by download).

Infection in this type of attack takes place when visiting an infected website, without any intervention from the user and without their knowledge. And this is the number one method utilized by cybercriminals, the one used in the majority of attacks. Protection against such attacks requires an Internet Security class solution capable of detecting threats as they are being downloaded from the Internet and the timely installation of all the latest updates for the browser and its plugins. Another key technology, developed by Kaspersky Lab, is Automatic Exploit Prevention, designed specifically to fight complex web threats, exploiting newly discovered vulnerabilities in software.

Social engineering.

These attacks require user participation, with the user having to download the malicious file to their computer. This happens when the cybercriminal tricks the victim into believing they are downloading
a legitimate program.

Protection against such attacks requires a web antivirus solution capable of detecting threats as they are being downloaded from the Internet.

In the period of April - June 2017 Kaspersky Lab products detected61,978Top 20 Internet-bornemalware incidents on the computers of KSN participants in Thailand.
Overall,    8.94% users were attacked by web-borne threats during this period on average.

The use of local infection statistics for user computers is an extremely important indicator. Worms and file viruses account for the majority of such incidents. This data shows how frequently users are attacked by malware spread via removable USB drives, CDs and DVDs, and other “offline” methods.

Protection against such attacks not only requires an antivirus solution capable of treating infected objects but also a firewall, anti-rootkit functionality and control over removable devices.

Sansiri joins hands with Japan’s Tokyu to transform Thailand’s residential development, targeting Thai and foreign buyers, with 2-billion-baht taka HAUS in September and long-term community development plan, embarking on a new journey as Thailand’s world-class full-service real-estate developer

Bangkok (8 August 2017)- Thailand’s full-service real estate developer Sansiri and Japanese conglomerate Tokyu Corp. whose illustrious portfolios include railway development and operation in the peripheries of Tokyo, urban and real-estate development, hotel and resort operations and various other businesses, have joined forces to develop property for both Thai and foreign buyers under a new joint venture named Siri TK One Co. Ltd. in September, the new firm will unveil its first condominium development, taka HAUS, in the Sukhumvit–Ekkamai neighbourhood. With an estimated value of 2 billion baht, the development will be tailored specifically to the lifestyles of Thai and Japanese residents. In the long run, both developers will consider the possibility of jointly developing a community, based on the success of Sansiri’s T77 and Tokyu’s urban development experiences in Japan.

Mr. Uthai Uthaisangsuk, Chief Operating Officer of Sansiri Public Co. Ltd., announced that Sansiri has partnered with Tokyu Corporation who specialises in the development and operation of a railway network in the peripheries of Tokyo, urban and real-property development, hospitality businesses and many other operations, and Saha Tokyu Corp. Ltd., to establish Siri TK One Co. Ltd. Sansiri itself holds 70% of this joint venture’s shares, while Tokyu Corporation. and Saha Tokyu hold 29% and 1% of the remaining shares, respectively. The purpose of this strategic partnership is to develop condominium projects, starting with a 2-billion-baht development named taka HAUS.
This alliance between Sansiri and the Tokyu Corporation stems from the similarities between our business philosophies. With Sansiri’s mission statements of ‘Complete Your Living Experience’ and Tokyu’s group slogan of ‘Toward a Beautiful Age’, both of our companies go beyond developing houses; we offer products that improve customers’ lifestyle. We gain insights into our customers’ needs by putting ourselves in their shoes, studying their consumption behaviours and gathering the residential needs of each target group. Thanks to all of this, we are confident that this partnership will bring about an urban development brimming with endless possibilities, set a new standard for Thailand’s real-estate sector and transform residential development at an international level. With this partnership, we will develop a condominium named taka HAUS on Ekkamai 12. The 2-billion-baht project will be tailored to the lifestyles of both Thai and foreign nationals. It will be launched in September,” the chief operating officer stated.

In addition to similar philosophies, this partnership also came about because Tokyu Corpotation(Japan) saw the potential of Sansiri, a 33-year-old Thai real-estate developer and service provider with a sizable collection of highly successful residential projects that meet varying consumer demands both in Thailand and overseas. Sansiri has earned a lead role in Thailand’s real-estate market thanks to a full range of products and services on offer. It is well known and praised for developing premium collections of detached homes, twin homes, town homes, home offices and condominiums across the country. The company has so far developed 318 projects, comprising 86,000 housing units in 17 provinces. It has even piloted a project overseas in the heart of London, England, at 9 Elvaston Place, to showcase its potential in the international arena. Moreover, Sansiri has strengthened its core real-estate business with expansions into other related businesses. For instance, Sansiri operates a community mall called Habito, whose rentable spaces for shops and restaurants have just opened last year. The developer also owns a subsidiary called Plus Property Co. Ltd., which offers a comprehensive range of property-related services, such as brokerage, sales and property management. It has been trusted by the public and private sectors for its all-inclusive services and consultancy for over 20 years.

Sansiri would also like to explore the possibility of long-term collaboration since both companies operate under very similar philosophies of going beyond mere construction of homes. The Tokyu Corporation has much experience in developing an entire town. For instance, it has developed Tokyu Tama Denen–Toshi located in the southwest of Tokyo, spanning over 5,000 hectares. This grand-scale development is located only 15 to 30 kilometres from the centre of Tokyo, namely Kawasaki, Yokohama, Machida and Yamato. The town has approximately 600,000 people (as of 31 March 2012). It is considered the largest urban development in Japan by a private entity. The group also plans on developing Shibuya into an entertainment city. Meanwhile, Sansiri itself has successfully developed the T77 community under the concept of “A Good Town for Good Life.” Catering to all lifestyle needs, this development is situated on an area of 50 Rai in the centre of Sukhumvit 77. It is located in close proximity to the SkyTrain and the Ram Inthra–At Narong Expressway. The community is home to six Sansiri condominium projects, a townhouse development, a premium apartment by MK Real Estate Development, Sansiri’s first lifestyle community retail mall and Bangkok International Preparatory and Secondary School (Bangkok Prep). All of this elevates the standard of living for T77’s residents and provides living solutions for both Thai and foreign urbanites in the Sukhumvit neighbourhood. Sansiri has also been successful in the development of the Ran Inthra area by transforming Satitpattana School into a leading Bangkok school, attracting customers to Sansiri’s developments nearby.
“In the future Bangkok will most likely become a city of clusters, much like other major world cities. In other words, there will be several city centres instead of one downtown area. Choosing the right cluster will be crucial in terms of living and investment. Facilities and amenities will not be confined to inner Bangkok like today, but will be spread out in different clusters. Each cluster will most likely be anchored to a mass rapid transit train station instead of the traditional district or road. As Bangkok is still expanding its transport infrastructure, we believe that there is potential for even more demand for residential developments along these mass rapid transit lines and existing communities. Sansiri and Tokyu see the opportunities and possibilities of future collaboration in developing a community with homes, entertainment centres, schools and a comprehensive range of facilities. We’d like to provide lifestyle solutions that allow clusters to prosper and lessen people’s reliance on inner Bangkok,” the chief operating officer stated.

Meanwhile, Mr. Toshiyuki Hoshino, Director, Senior Managing Executive Officer and Executive General Manager of International Business Headquarters of Tokyu Corporation, stated that the Tokyu Corporation began with the Meguro–Kamata railway in 1922. As of March 2017, the Tokyu Group operates a total of 221 companies and eight other incorporated organizations under Tokyu Corporation. Its operations extend across a wide range of sectors, encompassing transportation, real estate, retails and hotels.

The history of Tokyu Corporation, the head company of the Tokyu Group, will be soon 100 years and it has been improving the Japanese urban livelihood through continuous combined development of transportation and real estate. The investments and development includes retail facilities, schools and hospitals which support the convenience & attractiveness to residents along the Tokyu railways, and this brought us the thankful reputation of our town as the most attractive place to live. Tokyu Corporation has been delivering its condominiums with “Dresser” brand with its core concepts of “Creativity”, “Habitability”, and “Safety”.

“In Thailand, Tokyu Construction has JV businesses with Ch. Karnchang PCL since 1981. It has contributed to deliver main roads, bridges, offices, schools, factories; and most recently, it has delivered the construction of the MRT Purple Line. In retail field, Bangkok – Tokyu Department Store Co., Ltd. has been appreciated by many customers since its open in 1985, and it has opened the second store in the Paradise Park Shopping Center in Srinagarindra. And in 2014, Tokyu Corporation together with Saha Group have set up the JV Company of Saha Tokyu Corporation Ltd. and commenced serviced apartment of “HarmoniQ Residence Sriracha” for Japanese expatriate families opened in 2016. Thankfully, the “HarmoniQ Residence Sriracha” is operating with nearly full occupancy and is been received wonderful reputation.” Mr. Hoshino noted.

Then Mr. Hoshino continued “We respect this strategic partnership with Sansiri which has the mutually understandable value and vision. We understand that there is a cultural difference between Thailand and Japan, thus by led by the Thai national leading and experienced developer of Sansiri, Tokyu will challenge its best to add values to deliver the comfortable, safe and beautiful living environment.”

Furthermore, there exists multiple economic corridors in Thailand and is considered as the Hub of Greater Mekong Subregion. There exists large sized industries, and the Government leads the advancement of the industry, and that should bring the Thailand continuous growth. Especially Bangkok continues to attract people as the centre of the economy and that brings the sustainable housing demand. Mr. Hoshino concluded.
In addition to our collaborative research and development efforts in this partnership, Tokyu is also equipped with businesses that will promote our new project among Japanese buyers, namely the Tokyu Livable. The expertise in real-estate sales, leasing and consultancy will expand our business potential among Japanese buyers, ensuring optimal mutual benefits and building a more robust business relationship. It’s a long-term business partnership that will create value added to both parties in a sustainable manner

BANGKOK, Thailand – 11 August 2017

The 12th annual edition of PropertyGuru Thailand Property Awards, supported by Thailand’s leading property site DDproperty.com, have announced the final shortlist of nominees, comprising 41 companies with outstanding developments in Bangkok, Phuket, Samui, Hua Hin, Khao Yai and the Eastern Seaboard.

Leading the nominations is boutique developer The Riviera Group, which collected seven nods for various condo and resort projects on Thailand’s progressive Eastern Seaboard.

The Riviera Group dominates the condo and design categories for the Eastern Seaboard, a rising economic and industrial zone that is at the centre of many infrastructure developments, following the announcement of the Kingdom’s Eastern Economic Corridor Development in mid-2016.

Other big nominees include: Sansara Development Ltd and Sansiri, earning six places on the shortlist each; Phuket mixed-use developer MontAzure, collecting five nominations; and in a four-way tie with four nods each are Proud Residences, FYNN Development, D'Well Grand Asset Co, and Sena Development.

A total of 39 categories, including special awards in corporate social responsibility (CSR), sustainable development, green development, and universal design, comprise this year’s awards programme, which celebrates its twelfth annual edition.

We’re optimistic about the future of the Thai property market especially with the knowledge that consumers will benefit from these exemplary developments.

Winning at the PropertyGuru Thailand Property Awards is highly regarded as the ultimate benchmark of success, as all entries are fairly and ethically judged following a strict set of criteria set by an independent panel of judges. With BDO Thailand acting as official supervisor, the judges visited the nominated developments and deliberated on their quality and standard of construction.

“Urbanisation will continue in Thailand and quality developments will set our prime investment destinations apart from their regional counterparts,” added Kamolpat.

The Thailand judging panel is once again headed by Suphin Mechuchep, managing director of JLL Thailand. “This is a great opportunity to share to the world what are being developed in those locations and to celebrate the key factors that drive the growth of the real estate industry in Thailand. The Thailand Property Awards have showcased high quality developments and have well demonstrated an increased recognition and respect gained from the country’s real estate industry.”

International Youth Day: Peace can be achieved through AI and education, say youth in Telenor Group survey

·       Artificial intelligence and inclusive education systems should be seen as important tools in furthering the cause of peace, youth in Asia tell Telenor
·       Nearly 7,000 millennials, ages 15-30, surveyed across seven countries in Asia, including Thailand, Bangladesh, India, Myanmar, Malaysia, Pakistan and Singapore

BANGKOK /OSLO, 11 August 2017It’s International Youth Day, and organizations around the world are celebrating young people’s contributions to conflict prevention and transformation, as well as inclusion, social justice and sustainable peace.  Telenor Group recently reached out to Asian youth on these topics, and the majority say that they view artificial intelligence and access to education as crucial for building peace and improving their communities.
The findings were gleaned from two surveys of Asian youth, assessing their attitudes toward peace-building, harnessing technology for social good and securing the jobs of the tomorrow. Together, Telenor Group surveyed nearly 7,000 millennials, ages 15-30, in seven markets in Asia. The two Telenor online surveys were conducted in May of 2017 and September-October 2016.
Artificial intelligence: Best peace-building technology
When asked which technology has the largest potential to give rise to peace, 32 percent of the respondents placed their bets on artificial intelligence, followed by the Internet of Things (30 percent), and virtual reality (28 percent). Across all markets, artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things and virtual reality rank consistently in the top three – suggesting the vast potential seen in these future technologies by the millennial generation.
Youth to leaders: More education, more inclusion
Among social causes that can lead to peace, including environmental protection, unemployment mitigation, education inclusion and civil rights, Asian youth responded that they are most passionate about education. Thirty-seven percent of survey takers ranked this as their top cause. Forty-seven percent of them say that leaders should invest more in developing inclusive education systems that give equal access and opportunities to all. Youth respondents’ second-ranked cause was climate change and global warming (21 percent). Other global issues prioritized by Asia’s millennials include mental health (17 percent), youth unemployment (17 percent), and gender inequality (8 percent).
Innovative, entrepreneurial spirits
One thing that united all markets surveyed was the youths’ own perspectives of their place in the world. Uniformly in all surveyed markets, nearly 40 percent of the youth described themselves as ‘the most innovative and entrepreneurial generation in history’.
Assessing tomorrow’s jobs
In a second Telenor survey, youth in Singapore, Malaysia, India, Myanmar, Bangladesh and Pakistan were polled on their attitudes about their future career, technology’s impact and the skills they need to be best prepared for the jobs of tomorrow. The results indicate that while Asia’s young adults embrace the importance of technology, non-technical human skills still play an important role.
The highest numbers of Pakistani, Indian and Bangladeshi youth maintained that the most important skills to obtaining a great job in the future will be the ‘ability to inspire others, and leadership capability’ (37-, 36-, 34 percent respectively). More than one of four surveyed Singaporean youth cited ‘people management and emotional intelligence’ (27%) as needed skills. Nearly one in three Myanmar youth said that ‘creativity, cognitive flexibility’ (29%) are critical. The standout in this category was Malaysia, where 24% of the surveyed youth stated that tech-related ‘mobile and web development, and super coding skills,’ were most important.
“Today’s youth have opportunities unlike any generation before. They were born into a connected world, and we want to know more about the roles that they believe technology can play, both in their own lives and in bettering the world around them. At Telenor, we believe that connectivity and digital services play a fundamental role in improving lives, and it’s inspiring to learn that Asia’s youth are with us in this mission,” said Ola Jo Tandre, Head of Social Responsibility, Telenor Group.
“This is exactly why we work with them every year through our Telenor Youth Forum, where we have them innovating new solutions to some of the many challenges facing their generation,” he added.
Telenor Youth Forum in final stages of recruitment for 2017 program
Initiatives such as the Telenor Youth Forum provide a global stage for youth to brainstorm and create innovative concepts that can drive real change in the world.
Recruitment for the Telenor Youth Forum 2017 is nearly closed in many Telenor markets.  Youth between 20-28 years of age in markets where Telenor is present are strongly encouraged to apply  – find out if applications in your markets are still open here: www.telenor.com/youthforum
Designed as a year-long program in partnership with the Nobel Peace Centre, the Telenor Youth Forum challenges its delegates with solving major socioeconomic crises facing youth. They are put in teams and paired with mentors from organizations such as UNICEF, Interbridge, the Red Cross, Techfugees and Telenor Research. Delegates learn skills such as service/product design and prototyping, in addition to insights on issues that can only be gained through hands-on experience.

Bangkok, Thailand—The Frasers Hospitality Group celebrated the one year anniversary of its Modena by Fraser Bangkok serviced residences on Wednesday night with a rousing affair, while announcing a refreshed brand placing simplicity, sustainability and holistic wellness at the heart of modern living.
One of the new features of the revamped Modena by Fraser brand is the provision of a carefully curated sleeping pack consisting of camomile tea, eye masks and a pillow menu, which has been specially developed to help guests feel relaxed and recharged for the day ahead.
“We see a clear market gap in fast-growing communities in Thailand for a mid-tier serviced residence that caters to the wants of today’s traveler—convenience, green living, socially aware and constantly connected,” according to Frasers Hospitality COO Alan Tang.
The Modena by Fraser Bangkok was opened in 2016 and has 238 residence units.
Located opposite the Stock Exchange of Thailand and Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, the slinky, glass-clad residence structure of the Modena by Fraser Bangkok is a visibly-striking landmark.
At the celebration, attendees were enthralled by the vocals of the band Crescendo and entertained by well-known celebrity DJ Salinee Panyarachun. A percussion show and food presented from five regions of the world capped off the night.
The Modena by Fraser brand was launched in 2010, with current locations in Shanghai, Suzhou, Wuxi, Wuhan, and Changsha. Its entry into Thailand is the property’s first foray outside of the China market.

Anipat Srirungtham, Executive Director of Aurora Design Company Limited and Lapatlapa Ruetivarangkoon, Vice President - Diamondof Aurora Design Company Limited

Aurora Design Company Limited, the biggest manufacturer and distributor of modern trade design gold and jewelry in Thailand under the brand Aurora, announced that in the past four decades, the company’s year-on-year growth has been around 40% annually, and in the first half of 2017 alone, the company has generated nearly 2 billion Baht in sale and expects to reach 5 billion Baht by the end of the year, and 15 billion within three years. Additionally, it is branching out to a new business line under the name Aurora Diamond to target the new generation who loves premium diamonds certified by the International Institute of Diamond Grading & Research (IIDGR), part of De Beers Group in the UK, and Sarine, the worldwide leader in the development and manufacturing of advanced systems for diamond technologies and gemstone production. The offerings are modern, stylish, and affordable. Aurora aims to attract the mass market and increase its sale by 40%, while 25 more shops are being added, taking the total number up to 200 shops nationwide.

Anipat Srirungtham, Executive Director of Aurora Design Company Limited, said that Aurora is one of the oldest design gold brands in the industry, with 40 years of history. It is also Thailand’s first gold and diamond shop to have presence at department stores. Thanks to its high quality, classic design, and meticulous craftsmanship, the brand has been trusted and recognized by the mass market for the past 40 years. Today, there are nearly 200 Aurora shops nationwide. However, due to the changing trends and new innovations, consumers want diversity, and therefore the company has decided to branch out its business to include diamond jewelleryunder the brand Aurora Diamond. The brand targets the new generation and working people above 25 years old. It is expected that Aurora Diamond will be able to increase the company’s revenue by 40%.

Today, the diamond market in Thailand is worth more than 100 billion Baht, and the company sees the opportunity in this market. Additionally, Aurora’s customers are also interested in diamonds offered at the same shop. Recently, its diamond sale has grown by 40-50% annually. Other brands in the market often sell either gold or diamonds exclusively, so this is a good opportunity for Aurora to be different. It will be the first brand to sell both design gold and diamond jewellery in one shop. To assure the customers of the quality of its diamonds, Aurora Diamond has partnered with the International Institute of Diamond Grading & Research (IIDGR), part of De Beers Group in the UK, and Israeli company Sarine for the first time in Thailand in its The Ultimate Love collection. Every piece of diamond accessories has been certified by the two organizations to ensure that the diamonds are of the best quality. It is the first time in Thailand’s diamond industry that a Thai brand is certified by Sarine, the worldwide leader in the development and manufacturing of advanced systems for diamond technologies and gemstone production. Ultimate diamonds, the top 2% of the diamonds in the world, are used in this collection, and is the inspiration for the collection’s name The Ultimate Love.

This collection consists of over 200 designs – pendants, earrings, and rings – made from gold and white gold, inspired by the love that Aurora Diamond has for its consumers. The diamond jewelleryare stylish, modern, feminine, and wearable. They can be mixed and matched with various styles, offered at an affordable price, starting from 29,900 Baht only. The collection was launched earlier in August in Bangkok, and will be available in other provinces in September 2017. Aurora Diamond has more than 180 branches inside Aurora shop and nine standalone shops in Bangkok and other provinces.
Lapatlapa Ruetivarangkoon, Vice President - Diamondof Aurora Design Company Limited

Overall, Aurora Design Company Limited is a retailer which has four businesses – modern gold (96.5% gold), design gold (75% gold), delight gold (gold jewelry and gems), and Aurora Diamond (gems and diamonds). It also offers gold and jewelry buying services. Aurora has a plan to add 30 more branches, mainly in department stores, and is investing 80 million Baht to renovate 30 of its current shops. By the end of 2017, there will be 200 Aurora shops nationwide.

OOTOYA, a Japanese restaurant chain in Central Restaurant Group (CRG), seeks to spur sales in late 2017 by unveiling its Grand Menu. While boasting a greater variety, this upgraded menu still places a strong emphasis on OOTOYA’s long-famous great taste, fresh & clean ingredients, and neat cooking. OOTOYA reveals that its investment budget now grows to more than Bt100million as it opens more branches and constantly renovate old outlets. Marketing activities are also its highlights, as the brand aims at reaching out to target groups for example by the increased use of online media. OOTOYA expects its sales to grow by five per cent this year.
Mrs. Ampaipan Chirathivat, President – OOTOYA at CRG International Foods Company Limited, says OOTOYA Japanese restaurants have operated in Thailand for 12 years now. On the overall, Japanese-restaurant market in the country is worth about Bt22billion. Enjoying continued growth, the market also looks set to grow further by 15 per cent annually. As Japanese restaurants prove hugely popular among Thais, many more entrepreneurs have jumped into the sector offering more alternatives to consumers.
In the face of intensifying competition and competitors’ serious efforts to boost their market share, OOTOYA has developed itself further to respond increasingly better to consumers’ needs. OOTOYA is now determined to offer much more than just the great taste and the quality of well-selected ingredients. On top of deliciousness and fresh food, OOTOYA makes it a rule to cook dish by dish after taking orders from customers. The brand also focuses on the delivery of impressive services. Customers are guaranteed that freshly-cooked dishes will come to their table within 15 minutes since placing the order. Special promotions are also now available at OOTOYA, which attracts students, working people and families alike. On average, each customer spends between Bt600 and Bt700 at OOTOYA. The 2017 strategy for OOTOYA covers three main elements:
  1. Selection of premium ingredients for new items in the menu, giving a greater variety for customers to taste and enjoy. New, interesting ingredients are added to achieve competitive edges.
  1. Serious attention to the taste and quality of every dish to ensure each exudes the original Japanese feel. Ingredients are carefully selected. Every dish is freshly cooked. As a plus, OOTOYA guarantees faster delivery of services. Customers will get the food they have ordered within 15 minutes as OOTOYA seeks to serve them healthy, delicious meals with the best of services. This is the commitment that OOTOYA has made to satisfy every customer.
  2. Marketing communications that focus on target groups, for example by leveraging more of online media, designing menu for people in various age groups, increasing online distribution channels, and expanding delivery services.
The launch of “Grand Menu”, which is the latest or upgraded menu, is very special in that it boasts a greater variety of dishes with stronger emphasis on ingredients and seasonings imported from Japan. Additional items cover appetizers, salads, and sashimi. The Grand Menu presents new, creative main dishes and brings back the items that proved popular in the past too. For extra delight, the list of dessert and beverages now runs longer. Recommended dishes in the Grand Menu are:
Buta Shabu Nabe with Mentsuyu Sauce– Soup of sliced blade sirloin, Chinese cabbage, pumpkin, tomato, and Enokitake. Topped with Mizuna, it is served with Katsuo slices and Mentsuyu Sauce.
Charcoal Grilled Akauo– Akauo fish is marinated with OOTOYA’s Shio Koji Mirin sauce and side dishes namely grated radish, Hijikini and Wakame.
Charcoal Grilled Chicken with Shio Negi Sauce– Served on a hot stone plate, it features charcoal grilled chicken, Japanese bunching onion sauce, salty sesame oil and potato salads.
Salmon Sashimi– It presents salmon imported from Hokkaido.
To celebrate the launch of the Grand Menu, OOTOYA now offers very special promotions too. First Benefit: Buy 1 get 1 Free for new items namely Sauteed Pork with karamiso Sauce, Buta Shabu Nabe, Salmon Salad, Salmon Sashimi, and Maguro Sashimi. But only 100 free dishes will be served each day on the first-come, first served basis at eight CPN-operated branches that are located at Central Ladprao, CentralPlaza Chaengwattana, CentralPlaza Grand Rama 9, Central Bangna, Central Rattanathibet, Central Salaya, Central WestGate and Central EastVille between 15 and 24 September 2017. This philosophy of ‘Centrality’ is always at the heart of whatever Central does and is the foundation of our Group as the centre of the city, of life and of the community, starting with Central Chidlom in Thailand.
As Central Group has expanded globally, the commitment to this guiding ideology was fundamental in the creation of Aux Villes Du Monde (AVDM), as a worldwide platform uniting all of our stores and societies in a Luxury Lifestyle Community through the influences of travel, food, fashion, art and culture.
We are giving our customers the next generation in the shopping experience across the world, with the pioneering use of new technology and establishing the newest legacy for us…the Central Luxury Collection.”

Through our website, application and instant messaging services, we offer a personalised service for our customers’ shopping and lifestyle inclinations.
The On Demand Service brings the AVDM network to their hands…offering a personal shopper wherever they are in the world. Through WhatsApp, our customers can check on product availability and information of items that we have in stock, then simply make purchases through various online payment options and have their goods delivered to wherever they are. This opens up the world of shopping for everyone, with people in Thailand able to buy directly from the best in European department stores, and Europeans being able to access the best from Thailand.
The AVDM application, allows users to book appointments at a store with a dedicated concierge, who will suggest the best destinations, travel recommendation and booking for hotel and restaurant in the city that will suit their tastes and wishes and our website also offers up a digital lifestyle magazine and twice-weekly newsletters, in eight languages for the eight cities the AVDM stores reside in. Based at Condé Nast Italia headquarters in Milan, these will be digital city guides with articles written by renowned international journalists with intimate local knowledge and giving the best ‘insight’ into what is happening, how to best experience the ‘local spirit’ in these historic cities, and offering expert advice in travel, lifestyle and cuisine.
In addition to offering an On Demand service to customers around the world, Central has also designed a special On Demand service for Thai shoppers with ‘Central On Demand’ through LINE@, first launched in August.
Sirikate Chirakiti, co-president of Central Department Store Ltd said, “We are the first to introduce the CENTRAL On Demand in Thailand, giving everyone access to a Central Department Store regardless of where they are. They can chat with our Digital Assistant about the availability of the products and can make a purchase online. This offers the best in online and offline shopping, as it’s convenient for the customer allowing them to shop from anywhere, but with the personal touch of being able to communicate with our staff that are there to assist in any way they can.”
CENTRAL On Demand is simple, with the concept “Chat – Shop – Ship”.  Scan the CENTRAL On Demand QR Code at any Central Department Store or through Central’s announcements, or search @CentralOnDemand followed by the desired store on the LINE application. Add as a friend and start chatting to ask about the products you want. If you want to make a purchase, you can order and use any of the several payment methods available. Your item will be delivered to your home, or you can also choose to pick it up at a Central Department Store of your choice.
By the end of this year, CENTRAL On Demand will be offered at 22 Central Department Stores nationwide and it is expected that by the end of this year, there will be more than 100,000 users around the world using LINE to keep in touch with CENTRAL On Demand.
