SEC public hearing on amendments to PF/DF marketing agent rules

Bangkok, February 12, 2016– The SEC is seeking public comments on draft amendments to the principles and regulations on granting of approval for marketing agents of private funds (PF) and derivatives fund (DF) managers to enhance flexibility for business operation and adjust timeframes for approval procedures in accordance with the Licensing Facilitation Act of 2015. 
The draft amendments have taken into account the important role of PF and DF marketing agents in soliciting investors to use investment management services of such funds. They cover key areas such as (1) the criteria for granting a general approval for individuals who have been ready to perform the duties of PF/DF marketing agents, (2) the relaxation of work system requirements to focus only on those essential for duty performance of PF/DF marketing agents, and (3) the compulsory seeking of clients’ consent before disclosing their personal information.

     DRACULA - BLOOD IS LIFE is directed by renowned theatre director Joe Harmston, who has directed some of the greatest actors in theatre, from StanleyTucci, Bill Nighy, Ian McKellen, to name but a few.
     Ewing Entertainment Worldwide is launching the Asian Premiere at KBankSiam Pic-Ganesha Theatre, an ultra-modern,world-class venue with 1,046 seats, right in the heart of Bangkok, with a run in Thailand spanning from February 12th to 6th of March. The Gala night on 18th February will feature special guest Dacre Stoker, author and filmmaker, the great grandnephew of Irish author Bram Stoker, as well as a large gathering of Thai celebrities and VIP guests.
Dracula: Blood is Life will premiere in Bangkok, before opening in Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong and eventually UK and European theatres.
Show opens on the 12th of February, featuring the Royal Shakespeare Company's brightest new star, William Belchambers as DRACULA, for 5 preview performances only. 12th – 14th February 2016.

February 16, 2016– dtac, in collaboration with the Foundation for the Blind in Thailand, launches “Nong Dee Dee *678 Voice Service” Call Center, operated by blind and visually impaired people. This initiative offers opportunities for the visually disabled to get to work, have pride in themselves and self-reliance, and contribute to their organization and society. This blind call center is located in the Foundation for the Blind in Thailand under the Royal Patronage of H.M. the Queen and is now operational to support dtac and Happy customers.
 
Mr. Lars Norling, Chief Executive Officer, Total Access Communication PLC or dtac said, “Nong Dee Dee *678 service by voice” call center employs blind and visually impaired people, in addition to other disabled employees who are already working in dtac Call Center. This new service is created as part of the Sustainability Management, which leverages dtac’s telecom technology to improve the quality of life and the Thai society. dtac uses the Corporate Social Responsibility policy as a guideline in running the business and driving the organization and society towards sustainability.

Gartner Positions Sophos as a Leader in Magic Quadrant Report for Endpoint Protection Platforms

OXFORD, U.K.– Feb. 11, 2016: Sophos (LSE: SOPH), a global leader in network and endpoint security, today announced that Gartner, Inc., has once again named Sophos as a Leader in its 2016 Magic Quadrant report for Endpoint Protection Platforms1 (EPP), a position Sophos has held since 2007.

Bangkok(18 February 2016)– First in Asia - SHOW DC, Thailand’s premier retail and entertainment mega-complex, owned by Mr. Chayaditt Hutanuwatra, Chairman of SHOW DC Corp Ltd., and located in the prime Rama IX area, announced a partnership with YG FOODS (a company in the YG Entertainment Group, the No.1 entertainment outfit in Korea), represented by Ms. Noh Hee Young (Ms. Noh), Chief Executive Officer, today.  The ‘YG Republique’ Entertainment Park will be opened under this partnership as the first fully integrated K-Pop food and entertainment space outside Korea. ‘YG Republique’ will be established on the deck of Show DC, an area of 3 rai (5,000 square metres), under the ‘Dine-Drink-Dance’ concept.  The project’s investment is Bht 550 million.  ‘YG Republique’ Entertainment Park aims to attract 2,000 visitors a day (while SHOW DC aims to attract 100,000 visitors a day, half Thai shoppers, the other half foreign visitors).  The opening at SHOW DC is scheduled for the third quarter of this year.

“Its main target groups are customers who already know and like A&W food and new customers or those who are under 35 years of age, such as young adults (25-35 years old), first jobbers, and families. The highlight is A&W’s signature fried chicken enjoyed with root beer. A&W was the pioneer of crispy fried chicken, whereas other brands sell soft fried chicken. A&W has improved its recipe to create Golden Aroma, flavorful crispy fried chicken that will please the palate of Thai consumers.
