This is being done by adding food & beverage business and rental space services such as cloud kitchen, rental service business such as Serviced Residence, that will help to create more secured income flow and increase value to their customers’ assets through the improvement of the regular after-sales services and for condominiums to rebrand and upgrade to become the “Branded Residence” under the three new main strategies, as follow:

Plans are in place to develop and include such units in almost all projects, namely, The Collection, Siamese Exclusive 42, Siamese Exclusive Ratchada, Siamese Rama 9, Siamese Sukhumvit 87 and Siamese Sukhumvit 48, where hotel-like amenities will be made available to renters.

  1. Development of buildings for rent that will remain the properties of the Company – The Company plans to hold ownership in projects located in high potential locations, such as condominiums whose functionality can be changed into hotels or serviced residences, and commercial spaces for rent in order to increase the proportion of regular income from rental business with the plan to develop such buildings in The Collection, Siamese Exclusive 42, Siamese Exclusive Ratchada,  Siamese Rama 9, Siamese Sukhumvit 48 and Siamese Sukhumvit 87 projects – which are considered mixed-use real estate projects.

  1. Develop and renovate old buildings for sale or for rent– The Company has a policy to invest in buildings located in prime CBD areas such as Silom and Sukhumvit and at high potential tourist destinations to develop and modify their functionality to add more value to the projects to increase income from sale or rent. Most recently, the Company have bought the land and the building under construction on Sukhumvit Soi 39 to develop into either a hotel or serviced residence.
“The Company’s direction in the future is to increase the scope of the real estate business to achieve more recurring income from increased rental portfolio from the present situation where the majority of the income is realized from the development of residential projects for sales. Currently (as of December 31, 2019), the real estate projects available for sale totals 13 projects together worth more than 40,000 million baht, projects such as the Siamese Rama 9 (mixed-use) and Siamese Exclusive 31, Mr. Kajonsit said.

INTOUCH postpones the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders for 2020 and approves the interim dividend at 1.30 baht per share

Bangkok – 25 March 2020: The Board of Directors of Intouch Holdings Plc. (INTOUCH) has resolved to postpone the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders for 2020 from March 31 until after May 31, 2020. This is due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which is spreading quickly and has not yet been contained. INTOUCH is very concerned about the safety of its shareholders, and the government has asked for cooperation from all sectors to avoid activities that involve large gatherings of people. This postponement will not have any significant effect on the Company’s business operations or the shareholders’ right to receive the interim dividend.
The Board of Directors will reconsider this matter at an appropriate time when the situation has been resolved, and set a new date and agenda for the AGM, including a new Record Date for specifying the list of shareholders who have the right to attend the meeting. The Company will then inform the shareholders accordingly.
The Board of Directors approved the interim dividend payment from the Company’s net profit as of 31 December 2019 at 1.30 baht per share, totaling approximately 4,168 million baht, instead of proposing the annual dividend to the AGM, in order to reduce the impact from the sudden postponement of the meeting. The Record Date for specifying the list of shareholders who have the right to receive this dividend was 26 February 2020, and the dividend will be paid on 23 April 2020, the same date as the shareholders had been previously notified. This interim dividend of 1.30 baht per share, when combined with the interim dividend of 1.35 baht per share for the first half of the year 2019 (which was paid on 4 September 2019), constitutes an annual dividend of 2.65 baht per share from the Company’s net profit in 2019. Consequently, the Board of Directors will not propose any other dividend payment for the year 2019.
In addition, the Board of Directors approved the appointment of Ms. Manida Zinmerman as a new independent director, member of the Audit and Risk Committee and member of the CSR Committee for Sustainable Development, to replace Mr. Chalaluck Bunnag (who has resigned from his board position, effective 25 March 2020).
The Company wishes to apologize to the shareholders for the cancellation of the AGM. The meeting will not be re-scheduled until the Department of Disease Control at the Ministry of Public Health announces that Thailand is safe from the spread of the COVID-19 virus and has returned to normal conditions. The Company will then arrange for the AGM to be held, in accordance with the law, as soon as it is reasonably practicable.

Not only does this disaster put an end to lives of a large number of people, it is also a grievous cause of global economic stagnation, reduced wellbeing, and depression for a prolonged period of time. As a result, this pandemic should be halted and banished urgently. In this regard, to achieve this, it depends on several factors, be they policies executed by the public sector, roles taken by the business sector, civic collaboration, individual and family responsibilities, acceleration to discontinue the spreading of virus, as well as creation of vaccines and medication. Therefore,  Mitr Phol Group and Banpu, including their subsidiaries, have realized how important to accumulate vital resources in order to cope with the epidemic together, starting from sufficiently providing medical personnel with medical resources, equipment, apparatus, and medical supplies in a timely manner. Banpu regards this situation as our responsibility to take part in addressing the problem side by side with those who have devoted themselves for other people. We truly wish that this collaboration of Banpu and Mitr Phol Group will be a great support in successfully handling and coping with the crisis. Moreover, we hope that we shall be inspiration and motivators that encourage other groups of people to take part in supporting and making it through this hard time, whether they be large, medium, or small organizations, or even individuals that are willing to help. On top of that, this is also a time for Thai people to join forces and overcome this situation altogether. Worry-free internet and productivity tools target SME needs
April 14, 2020– In an open-ended survey, dtac consulted over 700 people across nearly 50 businesses on their top needs during the COVID-19 crisis. What emerged is that smaller businesses are particularly unprepared for stable, effective work from home solutions. dtac is responding with new Business Survival Solutions to address these concerns.

The top three most cited topics from interviewees were:
  • Many employees do not have installed stable Wi-Fi or internet connections in their homes or in their hometowns. Lack of a stable internet connection at home makes effective remote work, such as video conferencing, unreliable.
  • Employees expect their organizations to subsidize their home internet costs. Even employees with home internet are concerned their Wi-Fi is already overburdened by too many devices from the rest of the family. Hence the need for a dedicated “work-from-home” connection.
  • The use of free applications for remote work has seen double- and triple-digit growth, with video conferencing massively increasing users’ data consumption. In addition to the need for larger data allowances for their employees, SMEs don’t always have Microsoft Office licenses to offer secure alternative to commonly used free apps to their employees.
In response to the survey, Rajiv Bawa, Head of Business Group of Total Access Communication Public Company Limited (dtac) said, “Many companies are focusing on the growing trend of global mobility, enabling employees to work remotely and reinforcing their IT infrastructure to support these arrangements. Reliable and high-performance internet connectivity with workforce collaboration platforms are the key to support this new way of work. dtac Business Survival solutions is being introduced to empower companies and their employees to maintain productivity while staying worry-free. Our Business Survival solutions are added on to support our Work from Home offerings. Previously we have the solutions include an internet package to support work from home or alternate sites, in addition to COVID-19 insurance and a powerful network solution that allows secured remote connections to access corporate enterprise or cloud applications.”

dtac is offering three Business Survival solutions:

     1. Maintain stable internet connection and ensure productivity with a pocket Wi-Fi
  • A special model of pocket Wi-Fi supporting 2,300 MHz with 8Mbps internet SIM
  • 399 baht/month internet package.
  • 1-year warranty for D-link 4G LTE Mobile Router DLK-DWR-932C
  • Available for registration from now until September 30, 2020
     2. Work anytime, anywhere with six-month free Microsoft Office E1 package
Six-month free Microsoft Office E1 package to help dtac corporate customers keep going. The package includes prominent features in Office 365 E1, including:

Available for registration from now until April 30, 2020 (valid for 6 months)

3.Unlimited data on the most-used work applications in Thailand.

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars is a brand that encourages the pursuit of dreams, and now a new generation of aspiring designers are being encouraged to bring their automotive dreams to life through a special ‘Young Designer Competition’. Launched to provide parents and children with a welcome distraction during the worldwide coronavirus outbreak, Rolls-Royce is calling on aspiring designers up to the age of 16 to design their dream Rolls-Royce of the future. The competition enables designers of the future to let their imaginations and creativity run free, even while they remain bound to their homes.

Rolls-Royce designs and builds the world’s most extraordinary cars, each a unique expression of the owner’s personality, imagination and creativity. From paint to embroidery, Starlight Headliner to art and design installations, anything is possible. Aspiring designers entering the challenge can now draw on their own creativity and desires to imagine the design of their very own super-luxury car.

The new competition is an extension of that which is run each year at the Rolls-Royce employees’ Family Day Celebration, held at the Home of Rolls-Royce in Goodwood, England. This eagerly anticipated activity delights creative young minds, as well as proud parents and grandparents. Rolls-Royce is opening up the competition to a worldwide audience to: stimulate design talent; inspire greatness; and provide a welcome distraction from self-isolation and social-distancing measures being adopted by many countries around the globe.

The marque’s Design team will judge all entries and select an overall winner, who will receive a rendered illustration of their design – a true once-in-a-lifetime, money-can’t-buy prize – as well as other prizes for outstanding entries. Runners-up will receive a hand-signed certificate from Torsten Müller-Ötvös, the Chief Executive Officer of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars.
