A commitment to advance and grow in parallel with social responsibility, which along the way, Esso focuses on being involved in building and supporting the prosperity in the communities in which they work.      The largest lifestyle trade fair in Southeast Asia STYLE Bangkok October 2019, organized by the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), Ministry of Commerce, being held at BITEC from 17-21 October 2019. After the first two trade days, the fair has already achieved a warm participation from buyers from both Thailand and 70 other countries. The fair is expected to welcome a wonderful turn out on the public days on 19-21 October as well.
     Thai lifestyle product industry is a complete industry, encompassing the entire value chain from upstream to downstream. Producers of lifestyle products, whether it be Smart Factory Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM), Original Design Manufacturers (ODM) or brand producers, are all available. There are clusters of producers formed in order to drive the industry. With firm support from the government sector, the lifestyle industry has enjoyed its continuous growth. Lifestyle product industry helps generate some 5% of the country total export revenue.

Schaeffler develops and manufactures key components for fuel cells

     The irregular availability of renewable energies requires new energy carriers and electricity storage technologies. This is the only way to ensure sustainable mobility for tomorrow.
     Alternatives such as hydrogen, which is available in almost unlimited quantities on the earth, are becoming increasingly important here. Schaeffler has recognized the enormous potential of hydrogen technology as an energy carrier of the future and has developed key components for fuel cells and fuel cell stacks, so-called metallic bipolar plates. The company is using its traditional core expertise in materials technology, forming technology, and surface technology in this development work. Its main strength here is that it is strongly diversified in the industrial and automotive sectors and is thus involved at every point in the energy chain, from the generation of energy through to its use in vehicles.
     Mr. Uwe Wagner, Chief Technology Officer at Schaeffler said “We want to shape CO2-neutral, sustainable and individual mobility with regard to the entire energy chain. The problem of global CO2 emissions cannot be solved with purely battery-driven vehicles alone. Heavy goods vehicles, in particular, will require alternative energy storage systems and hydrogen in combination with the fuel cell offers outstanding opportunities here. Hybrid storage systems, i.e. the combination of a battery and hydrogen, are also an attractive solution for achieving a longer range in passenger cars.”
     The fuel cell is the key to sustainable mobility Schaeffler has been focusing on the value added chain of key components for the fuel cell for some time and is using its traditional core expertise here. Bipolar plates are produced by precise forming and coating in the thin-layer range, which once stacked form the core of the fuel cell system. The fuel cell stacks are energy converters, which let H2 react with O2 to form water. The electricity generated during this process can be used to power the vehicle’s electric motor. Schaeffler’s portfolio for optimized fuel cell systems is expanded by additional areas of expertise, such as electronic control systems, special foil-air bearings, smart thermal management modules or components for passive hydrogen recirculation.

     Singapore’s large investment group Greenfield Advisory joins hands with a hotel investor to build up Fulcrum Ventures brand “Life Is An Opportunity” bucking the Thai property market downturn trend and planning to invest more than 5 Billion Baht within the middle of next year. The group drops pin on “Panara Thepharak,” a single detached house project in a potential location on main road, a new central business district in eastern Bangkok, and plans to get listed in the stock market within 5 years.

Mr. Deepak Mishra, Founder of Greenfield Advisory Pte Ltd, Singapore, discloses that Greenfield Advisory, which is headquartered in Singapore with consecutive investment experiences in property business in various continents worldwide including Asia, the Middle East and Europe, has invested in Thailand since 2010. In the first 5 years, the group invested in hospitality business including hotel and serviced apartment before studying various businesses and expanding an investment to property development business. Although this business has slowed down since last year, the group believes that property development business has opportunity to create value and grow in the future. With a strong confidence in Thailand’s economic potential and stability which has been robust for the past several years when compared with other countries in Asia, the group plans property development in the country consecutively in the future.

As we have learned Thai property market and culture, we decided to expand to low-rise housing development or “single detached house.” We are specialised in investment around the globe with research on consumer’s needs in each country. Currently, Fulcrum Ventures’ assets comprise condominiums, serviced apartments and vacant land plots. It aims to develop at least 2 property projects per year with a combined investment of around 5 Billion Baht from now until the middle of next year, focusing on low-rise projects or single detached house. It also plans to raise fund in the stock market within 5 years.

“The key in business operation under Fulcrum Ventures brand is to deliver quality products to customers. Before our first project is created, we have done market study and analysis on hundreds of target group samples which takes many years until we are confident that it will become a perfect project,” Mr. Somsakd says.

After I had the opportunity to study in the UK in Biochemistry and Management after graduated, I’ve returned to work as a business consultant. "Right now, PHARMCARE been launching for 5 months and has been very well acknowledged even without full marketing plan. But when we received the fund by the depa, we will be used to expand the platform development and do marketing to increase brand awareness throughout the country to expand data base for access health services of quality drugstores. Also recruit more quality drugstore join our network. Which currently has about 70 drug stores in Bangkok. We aim to expand to nearby provinces and throughout the country in the future, "said Miss Jinnipa
          Miss Jinnipa added that "PHARMCARE is not only helping to find quality drugstores near your home, it also helps to adjust the behavior of people using the service from a previously uncomfortable condition by buying medicine on their own. Previously, from the old habit, from the advice of friends or buy from what they see in the advertisement. Turning into receiving counseling from a pharmacist first just like having a personal medicine doctor who takes care of their personal health. And when every citizen wants to go to a quality drugstore with good pharmacists stand by. It will stimulate general stores to be alert and ready to improve service. Lastly people will also get better health services as follow eventually.

     Sam Rap Thai Institute is an international Thai food culture institute established under the cooperation between Thai Fight Company Limited and the "Sam Rap Thai Institute", the Thai Studies Institute of Chulalongkorn University on 
October 1, 2019 with the idea of establishing to distribute local Thai food and Thai food as a "Sam Rap" to be known in worldwide. 
     "Thai food" is considered as one of the charm of Thailand due to its mellow and strong-flavor, making Thai food to be well-known and famous. However, the study and extension of local Thai food, which may be called "Local food wisdom" is still not developed as it should be. Therefore, the main function of the Sam Rap Thai Institute is to collect local raw materials, researching the process of creating food, as well as promoting local food to be widely known and disseminating Thai food culture around the world through various activities, including television programs, cooking contest as well as organizing a local food festival that will be held both domestically and internationally throughout the year. 
     The extension of Thai food to go global when the "Sam Rap Thai Institute" is a collaboration between Thai Fight Co., Ltd. (THAI FIGHT), a company that has many world-class Muay Thai tournaments that create a reputation for spark creating a trend for Muay Thai to spread throughout the world with 
Chulalongkorn University which is an academic institution that gathers information and manages to listen to opinions from various related agencies, 
making "Sam Rap Thai Institute" has the potential to be a central agency for data collection together with the Ministry of Culture in proposing to "Sam Rap Thai" has been registered as a UN Intangible Cultural Heritage.

     To disseminate Thai cooking methods and preserve traditional Thai cooking methods. Sam Rap Thai Institute also intends to create a Thai cooking course to 

present the uniqueness of Thai through the authentic "original" taste of Thailand. Moreover,"Sam Rap Thai Institute" has also established the award "Siam 
Charat" award as a medium to convey Thai food standards to the world. "Siam Charat" award will be a prestigious award that guarantees the quality of local 
food and local restaurants in order to build trust among consumers. The "Siam 
Charat" award is a global award that motivates restaurants to intend to preserve local food. Thailand's sustainability and publicizing local food to be known around the world as well.

PTTEP organizes Conservation Youth Camp for school students to learn the importance of natural resources in Ranong Province

PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited (PTTEP) arranged the 5th Conservation Youth Camp to give students from 13 secondary schools and high schools in Ranong Province the chance to experience natural resources of mangrove forests in Ranong biosphere reserves, which is recognized as the most plentiful mangrove forests in Asia Pacific. The students attended several conservation activities including walking through the nature trail and studying marine ecosystem. The activity was organized in collaboration with Andaman Coastal Research Station for Development, the Faculty of Fisheries of Kasetsart University and the Mangrove Forest Resource and Technology Transfer Center 3 (Ranong), Department of Marine and Coastal Resources.

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), together with public and private sector partners, launches the campaign “Tourism for All 2020” as a New Year’s present for State welfare cardholders and disadvantaged Thai people , TAT is  collaborating with 58 alliances to offer state welfare cardholders entry fee discounts for 58 attractions across the country. Also a special opportunity called “Dream Travel: Once in a Lifetime” is also open to state welfare cardholders who have volunteered to help their community, including Village Health Volunteers (VHV), Bangkok Health Volunteers (BHV), Civil Defense Volunteers (CDV) and Social Development and Human Security Volunteers (SDHSV).who will have the chance to win free 400 travel packages for their family.
According to TAT Governor Mr. Yuthasak Supasorn, the campaign “Tourism for All 2020” has been carried out by TAT for 4 consecutive years. Following the concept “Tourism for All”, this campaign aims to have tourism improve the Thai people’s quality of life and sustainably strengthen Thai society. TAT will conduct many activities throughout the year to equally provide tourism opportunities to the Thai people.
